Hand-Held Sweeper Magnet

BJ Magnets’ Bullet Magnets are designed and manufactured with a magnetic cone in the centre, thus placed within a stainless-steel housing. When fitted in a product line, the cone shape ensures smooth flowing volume, with high intensity magnet, of discharged products. And when the dry free-flowing products flow through the pipe passing the bullet shaped magnet, the contaminations are extracted onto the Bullet Magnet surface.

BJ Magnets’ Bullet Magnets perfectly capture, thoroughly and effectively remove, ferrous debris contamination from powder and granular products, chemical, plastic as well as mineral products.

BJ Magnets’ Bullet Magnets are also conceived with a bargain of optimized magnetic strength capable of removing relative lager pieces of iron tramps like nuts, bolts, or nails; thus to avoid damage to the downstream machines. The unite is usually installed in gravity and pneumatically pipelines. It is applicative to all the dry powder and granular products.

PRODUCTS

Handheld Sweeper Magnets or Spout Magnets consist of a hinged plate attached to a housing. This allows for simple installation by removing a section of the spouting and replacing with the angled Spout Magnet. This is especially helpful when installing this type of separator in flat or a round spout.

APPLICABLE REQUIREMENTS

A Chute Magnet or Spout Magnet can be provided with a round inlet and outlet openings of which transition to the rectangular flows through areas where the plate magnet is attached. The Plate magnet is hinged, latched, and gasketed for easy access and cleaning. The Chute Magnet or Spout Magnet is engineered to remove fine to large ferrous contaminants from high volume gravity fed product streams.

Applications are not limited only to: Flour, Spices, Grains, Maize, Salt, Animal feeds, Pellets (Feed or plastic), Sugar or Coffee.

Inside the stainless-steel housing is a powerful cylindrical shaped magnet with a cone shaped nose. As a material enters the housing, the nose of the cone diverts the material around the cylindrical magnet where it passes through the magnetic field and ferrous contaminants are drawn to the magnetic surface.

Ferrous contaminants are safely held in place as the cleaned product exits out the opposite end of the housing. To clean the captured ferrous contaminants, the access door must first be removed from the housing by opening the latches then, remove the magnetic element from the stripper shell and set aside.

The Ferrous contaminants would have fallen on the housing door where it can now safely be discarded. After that, the magnetic element has to return to the stripper shell and be installed on the housing. Once you have securely latched the door and assemble the magnet to the housing, you can now resume conveying the product.
